The mission of the Provident Savings Bank Charitable Foundation, Inc. is to provide grants to qualified nonprofit organizations within the counties of Riverside and San Bernardino, California
that demonstrate measurable community impact and align with our commitment to long-term community benefit.
Grant Funding Overview
The Provident Savings Bank Charitable Foundation, Inc. is committed to providing grant funding to eligible organizations whose programs improve community well-being through initiatives focused on youth, education, seniors,
housing and the arts.
Grant Focus Areas
Grant funding is intended to support programs and projects that:
- Benefit youth and education
- Promote stable housing and community development
- Support arts and cultural enrichment
- Address clearly defined community needs with measurable outcomes
Eligibility
To be considered for funding, applicant organizations must meet the following eligibility criteria
- Be a qualified nonprofit organization, including those recognized as 501(c)(3) entities or other eligible nonprofit classifications
- Operate programs that directly serve Riverside and/or San Bernardino Counties
- Have been in continuous operation for a minimum of three (3) years
- Demonstrate financial stability and provide a current operating or project budget
- Submit requests that support established or clearly defined programs
- Be able to articulate measurable goals and outcomes for the proposed use of funds
- Be in good standing with applicable state and federal regulatory agencies
- Submit applications that align with the mission, focus areas, and charitable objectives of the Provident Savings Bank Charitable Foundation
Application Process
Organizations seeking funding are required to submit a completed Request for Funding application, which includes:
- An organizational overview
- A clear statement of community need
- A description of how funds will be used
- A project-specific, line-item budget
- Defined goals and measurable outcomes
- Information on other funding sources
- A sustainability plan beyond the grant period
Application Deadlines
Applications are accepted twice annually:
- June 1
- December 1
Notification of Awards
Applicants will be notified of funding decisions in July or January, following review and approval by the Foundation’s Board of Directors.
